i’m not usually one to jump back into training after a hard race but i made a committment to the women in my boat to race on 5/1. so i dragged myself out of bed to row drills and some steady state. sore, stiff, as expected and the first 15 mins or so were pretty painful, my quads and hamstrings were not happy. our row was one of our best, we actually had some strokes where we were “rowing” the boat instead of just moving back and forth on the boat. my legs feel so much better i am really glad i went out there.
