4 miles - first jog after race

walked and jogged for 2 miles with 2 of my girls. dropped them off then went for a 2 mile jog. felt o.k. other than legs feeling like lead. firing up the running muscles again was a gentle reminder of the need to recover.

It’s sort of like the first time having s** after having a baby. Glad to see you ventured out. We’ll meet up again in a few weeks.

I like the analogy…I can’t say I can imagine what that feels like.
