3 minute on 2 minute off a low rates high intensity
4+ is a 4 person sweep boat (each person has one oar) with a coxswain. this means that there are only 4 people to carry around the little person i.e. HEAVY. i haven’t been in one in a very long time because these are boats geared for beginners or those that don’t want to think about steering. the rudder kept catching weeds which makes it hard to steer and was like towing an anchor. add to it a group of mis-matched rowers getting no direction from the coxswain or coach and it was a tough morning. i got 6 new blisters that shredded during the row so my hands are on fire. what a crappy row…

Sorry about your row! A bad boat really sucks. Have you ever put tea bags on your blisters? It really toughens them up (but stings like hell and makes your hands look like crap). :-)
